Western Illinois Elementary Teacher Wins Fall Semester’s First Award For Her Dedication, Creativity

The Fall 2025 semester has kicked off. Since kids are back in the classroom again, we're going out with our awesome program with Ultimate Chocolates to honor and reward an awesome Quad Cities teacher.

It's now time to announce this week's B100 & Ultimate Chocolate's QC Teacher of the Week!

Congrats to Jamie Marsiglio, life skills teacher at Logan Elementary in Moline!

Ms. Marsiglio was nominated by her colleague, Lesley Hill, who had this to say about her creativity, dedication, and compassion:

Jamie Marsiglio is a truly exceptional educator whose presence at Logan Elementary School in Moline, IL makes a lasting difference every single day. As an LFI teacher, Jamie brings unmatched dedication, creativity, and compassion to her work, tailoring her teaching to meet the diverse needs of her students with patience and purpose. Her classroom is a haven of trust, growth, and joy where every child feels seen, supported, and empowered to succeed. But Jamie’s influence reaches far beyond her students. She’s the kind of colleague who lifts others up, always ready with a kind word, a helping hand, or a moment of laughter that brightens the day.

 

Jamie works tirelessly, often going above and beyond without fanfare, simply because she cares so deeply. Her kindness is genuine, her love for teaching is contagious, and her ability to connect with others’ students, families, and staff alike is truly remarkable. She’s not just respected at Logan Elementary; she’s adored. Whether she’s celebrating small victories in the classroom or showing up for her coworkers with unwavering support, Jamie embodies the heart and soul of what it means to be a teacher.

 

Her impact is felt in the quiet moments and the big ones alike, and her dedication deserves to be recognized. Jamie Marsiglio is more than deserving of B100’s Teacher of the Week not just for what she teaches, but for how she makes everyone around her feel valued, inspired, and cared for.
