QC Teacher Of The Week: Stephanie Avena At Lincoln-Irving Elementary
It's the Fall 2022 semester and we are heading out to schools with our awesome program with Nothing Bundt Cakes to honor and reward our awesome Quad Cities teachers and educators. It's called QC Teacher of the Week and we are so excited to announce this week's teacher of the week!
It's now time to announce this week's B100 and Nothing Bundt Cakes QC Teacher of the Week!
Congrats go to Ms. Stephanie Avena, who is a first-grade bilingual education teacher at Lincoln-Irving Elementary in Moline!
Ms. Avena was nominated by her sister, Alexia Avena-Pearson. Alexia said,
I want to nominate my sister Stephanie Avena for teacher of the week! She is a first-grade bilingual education teacher at Lincoln-Irving Elementary. I nominate her because she works hard every year to make sure all of her students get the best education they can and is always happy to lend a hand with her co-workers and school in general for after school programs or clubs. She helps with Girls on the Run and encourages her students to participate. She also spends lots of time and effort on updating her classroom each year to accommodate for the new students coming in and their learning styles. I think she deserves to be teacher of the week!
Awesome job, Ms. Avena! For being our QC Teacher of the Week, Ms. Avena has been rewarded with a B100 Prize Pack which included a B100, stickers, pop sockets, koozies, Bubbl'r from Pepsi, and more things, plus an awesome cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes!
Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Ms. Avena!
