QC Teen Lands In The ICU After Attempting The Latest Internet Challenge
The internet challenges have gotten out of hand.
A Bettendorf teen's parents are warning others after their daughter ended up seriously injured from an internet craze.
WQAD reports that 18 year old Anna Worden had to be airlifted to the the University of Iowa Hospital Iowa City following her attempt at the "Kiki Challenge." The challenge calls for participants to jump out of a moving car while dancing along to Drake's music.
Anna tripped and fell while filming her challenge video, which resulted in a skull fracture, blood clots, and bleeding in her brain.
Although she was released from the hospital, the teen still has a long road to recovery, which includes intensive physical therapy.
