Here Are 10 QCA Places Ranked as ‘Stranger Things’ Characters
With this summer's release of the (excellent) season 4 of "Stranger Things" on Netflix, we're drawing comparisons between the characters and QCA towns.
It's still 2 long, lonely years we must wait until season 5 comes out, the very last season of the show. But with so much great character development this season, I thought we could look at the similarities between the characters and some towns we know pretty well. (These are just my impressions guys, don't @ me).
We'll start off with the big ones.
Davenport: Eleven
Davenport is the biggest city in the QC. Eleven is ultimately the character the show revolves around, and her ability to save Hawkins from the Upside Down always comes back into play.
Bettendorf: Nancy
In season 1, Nancy appears a bit prissy as she finds herself joining the popular group. But over time, she gets grit and toughness and shows she has what it takes by the end of season 4. Bettendorf, though wealthy, can relate.
Moline: Dustin
Moline reminds me of the sharp and sassy teddy-bear-faced Dustin. Dustin is by far my favorite kid in the group and never hesitates to call out something ridiculous.
East Moline: Max
Max is another scrappy kid who isn't afraid to call things as she sees them either.
Rock Island: Jonathan
Jonathan started out as a protective, supportive older brother and then he pretty much spiraled down into a stoner with a penchant for pizza by season 4, my dude.
Eldridge: Hopper
Hawkins police chief Hopper is a down-to-Earth, all-American man from the get-go and I get that same Americana vibe from Eldridge.
Muscatine: Will
Will, the problem child who is likely still possessed by Vecna. Muscatine does have a better haircut than Will though.
LeClaire: Chrissy
Chrissy seemed on the surface like a prissy, popular cheerleader but she was actually a very kind person (who really didn't have to die #ChrissyWakeUp).
Galena: Joyce
Galena is classic in vibe and so is Joyce (Winona Ryder is classic always). Joyce is a mom to the nth degree, risking everything to take care of her sons.
Rock Island Arsenal Bridge: Demogorgon
Have I mentioned this week that I hate this bridge.
