Quad City Man Hospitalized After Shooting Himself

Police were called to Shooting Sports today after a man shot himself.

Shooting guns wrecklessly is one thing. Shooting them safely, in a shooting range, is another. It's a reminder that terrible accidents can still happen.

According to OurQuadCities.com,

"Moline Police tell Local 4 News the man discharged the weapon while in a shooting lane, but the bullet struck himself, they did not specify whether or not this was an accident."

The man's current condition and identity are not being disclosed at this time. Police are conducting an investigation but also stated that it's clear that no one else was involved.
