While quite a few of us have gotten the COVID-19 vaccine, many people are still trying to help slow the spread of the virus and get their vaccine as soon as they can. This week, Genesis Health System and the Rock Island County Health Department are holding walk-in vaccine clinics this week.

Today, Genesis Health System is holding their first of two walk-in vaccine clinics of the week. Officials say on social media that it's easy for patients and non-patients to get vaccinated at their walk-in clinic. The clinic is happening today at the former Dick's Sporting Goods Store at 5250 Elmore Avenue in Davenport.

Walk-in hours are today (Tuesday), and this Thursday from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Those wanting a vaccine today with Genesis will need to schedule an appointment. They can schedule that appointment here, or by calling 563-421-4088.

The other walk-in vaccine clinic happening today is being put on by the Rock Island County Health Department. Their walk-in vaccine clinic will happen today from 12:30-4:30 p.m. at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church 1501 6th Ave. in East Moline. No appointments are required for this walk-in clinic, and the Moderna vaccine will be administered at this walk-in clinic.

The Rock Island County Health Department is also putting on another walk-in clinic tomorrow (Wednesday). Walk-ins will be welcome tomorrow at the Camden Centre in Milan from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Those seeking vaccination during that time do not need to preregister, but can schedule an appointment and find more details by clicking here.

The Moderna vaccine will be given at this clinic too.
