I am officially out of clean socks, as of Monday morning at 4:33, so long Christmas socks, still with a new tag on them and bound by a plastic anti-theft hook device; was my last option. All good, as I am both a fan of long socks and Christmas rememberance a couple months after the fact, According to Wikipedia, the modern English word sock is derived from the Old English word socc, meaning ‘light slipper’. This comes from the Latin soccus, a term to describe a "light, low-heeled shoe", and deriving from the Ancient Greek word sykcho. And my obsession for long socks is just cuz.  As I prep for sock laundry later today, enjoy a few sock facts with me!
