Renowned Iowa Basketball Coach Lisa Bluder To Speak In Quad Cities

Ladies of the QCA are invited to TPC Deere Run.

Right before the John Deere Classic tees off on July 3rd, they will host Executive Women's Day on July 1st.

It will have time for networking, a breakfast, and the keynote speaker will be none other than the very successful retired Iowa Women's Basketball coach, Lisa Bluder.

The event's website says the day (which is at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, in a venue beside hole #18) will go like this:

• 8:00-8:30: Registration/Networking
• 8:30-10:00: Welcome/Breakfast/Program/Keynote Speaker-Lisa Bluder
• 10:00-11:30: Photo Opportunities/Look Behind the Scenes

So you'll also get a sneak peek into the inner workings of the John Deere Classic a couple of days before it tees off.

As the website puts it: "This special day is more than just an event—it's a celebration of the power of women coming together to make a real difference. The blend of business and leisure provides a refreshing and empowering experience, encouraging women to continue breaking barriers and achieving their goals."

An individual ticket is $120, a table of 8 is $950. Proceeds from tickets go to help the Birdies for Charity Bonus Fund, which contributes to the charities who participate in Birdies for Charity.

If you're a Hawkeyes fan, you don't need to be reminded about the success that Lisa Bluder led the ladies' basketball teams to. She is the all-time winningest coach in program history and is pretty much a legend in the college basketball world.
