I was thrilled to be a guest host the first-ever Rock City Live this past weekend! It's the Quad Cities version of Saturday Night Live. I laughed so hard during rehearsals that I immediately contacted friends to come to the show at the Speakeasy that night! It's something new that long-time QC artists, Sean Leary and Tristan Tapscott (Founders of My Verona Productions) created and they certainly delivered with the content. From the Breakup of the Week Club, to Sean's hilarious Craigslist Missed Connections story (which was TRUE, by the way!) with the enactment of said story on-stage, my cheeks were sore by the end of the night from the humor. One of my favorite sketches was about a woman with a yooooper accent who kept going on about all the "great opppoortoooonities" life had to offer, even in the most unlikely set of circumstances. Goooo me!!

I managed to pull off some improv, tell a few fun stories of my career in radio and enjoy a lot of laughs with the creative and oh-so-hilarious cast.
