Rock Island Kindergarten Teacher Recognized For Patience, Energy

Spring Break is on the horizon but the kids are still working hard, so we're going out again for our surprises with Ultimate Chocolates to highlight and reward a deserving Quad Cities teacher.

It's now time to announce this week's B100 & Ultimate Chocolate's QC Teacher of the Week!

Congrats to McKenzie Seymour, Kindergarten teacher at Eugene Field Elementary School in Rock Island!

She was nominated by Megan M., who said in her nomination:

I’m nominating her for Teacher of the Week because even as her friend, it’s obvious how much heart and effort she puts into her classroom every single day. She works incredibly hard and has endless patience for her (very energetic!) kids, always showing up with kindness, creativity, and a positive attitude. She truly cares about her students and goes above and beyond to make sure they feel supported and encouraged. The passion she has for teaching doesn’t stop when the school day ends, and it’s inspiring to see the difference she makes.
