On June 7th, Shawn Mendes played his first-ever sold out arena as a headlining act. It's crazy to me that someone so young could already have such a devoted following.

Here's what the 16-year-old told Billboard about his experience:

“Performing ‘Stitches' and all of the songs from Handwritten at my first ever sold-out arena show was so crazy. Just hearing the entire crowd sing along to every word is a feeling I can't even explain.”

Soon, he'll be opening for Taylor Swift on her 1989 Tour, including stops at Soldier Field in Chicago. I'm sure that will come with even more emotions.
