An unauthorized gathering of 100 bikers early Saturday in Waterloo has many people asking questions after said gathering lead to a shoot out. It almost seems like a scene out of a movie the way NBC describes it.

"At about 3:17 a.m at a site where the bikers were gathered.

Upon arrival, officers found about a dozen people who had been injured or shot, It appeared that "some kind of confrontation" at the location escalated into a shooting."

As of right now the shooting has lead to 11 injured with 8 people suffering gunshot wounds, one of them passing and another is in critical condition.

Waterloo Police Chief Joel Fitzgerald stated that the gathering wasn’t authorized and investigators are trying to determine who leased the building. Investigators are also trying to determine whether there was more than one shooter.

Fitzgerald also described the scene,

"Inside of the location there was some kind of confrontation. We do know that gunfire was exchanged inside, It wasn’t immediately clear how many people were shooting, though. We also know that one of the exits had to be destroyed in order for people to get out,”

According to WCFCourier The shooting occurred at the end of about a 24-hour period that included two other gunshot incidents Friday morning, which police said they do not believe were connected to Saturday’s events.
