Smoothie King Is Quad Cities Bound

According to the Quad City Times, Smoothie King is looking to open up a store in Davenport.

The article cites a company official saying that a local franchisee is hoping to open a Davenport Smoothie King in Davenport in early 2017. Location and other details have not been released.

Iowa is currently home to one other Smoothie King in Des Moines and Franchise Development Manager, Chris Elam, says the Hawkeye State is the perfect place for the growing company.

"What we like about Iowa is there are a lot of healthy individuals there — runners, hikers, bicyclists... The underlying mission is all our smoothies have a purpose."

I grew up drinking Smoothie King in Madison, WI. They even catered my high school graduation party! I recommend the Pineapple Pleasure and the Angel Food Cake, YUM!!
