Spider-Man, Spider-Man. Does whatever a spider can!

Technically, he's able to do that because of a bite from a scientifically modified spider. But really, it's because of genius writers. It all started with the legendary Stan Lee, may he rest in peace. But over the years, the Spider-Baton has been passed to many authors.

Most recently, it was given to Jason Reynolds, and he was well-equipped to take it on. He's  been on the New York Times Bestseller List, been honored for numerous awards and has won even more.

This week, Reynolds will be in the Quad Cities! He's going to be at the Davenport Public Library on Thursday, March 28 to meet fans and discuss his work.

Not only did he get to write for Spider-Man, but Reynolds got to be the first real guiding hand for Miles Morales' Spider-Man. Miles Morales is the primary hero in Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, which was near universally praised.
