The Triple Crown Whiskey Bar and Raccoon Motel, 304 E. 3rd St., Davenport, will close for a bit, then reopen with a different name and without a stage.

It's sad to see another retailer leaving the Quad Cities.

A popular Wisconsin based retailer has filed for bankruptcy and plans to close it's Iowa stores.

Another large retail store in the Quad Cities is closing it's doors this fall.

Sears announced the closure of another 72 stores yesterday. One of them is the Sears location at NorthPark Mall in Davenport.

Toys R Us will close 20 percent of its U.S. stores within months but the Davenport and Moline Toys R Us stores in the Quad-Cities are not among those stores slated for closure.
