August 20, 1989. A landmark day in American history.

The story of Zack, Slater, Screech, Jessie, Kelly, Lisa and Mr. Belding was born on this day 26 years ago.

If you want to get technical nerdy, Good Morning, Miss Bliss--the origin story of SBTB--debuted in 1988 and took place in Indiana. The revamped Bayside High version is the one most of us cherish.
