Take the family to Scarecrow Shenanigans this year for some "spooky, ooky, and kooky" activities, experiments, and games to celebrate fall and Halloween.

On Sunday, Oct. 21 from noon-5 pm,  the Great Hall at the Bettendorf Family Museum will be home to a huge Scarecrow Creation Station. Your kids can make a scarecrow to decorate your front porch, craft a pinecone bat in the ThinkShop, and explore the Creepy Crawly room filled with cockroaches and other bugs and insects.

Museum staff say there's no need to be afraid of monsters or the dark...you'll have a blast making your own monster and playing in the glow-in-the-dark game room.

The Family Museum Dance Company will perform selections from Ratatouille at 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm and magician David Casas performs at 1:30 and 3:30 pm. See you at the Family Museum!
