The Masters Postponed Due To Coronavirus
The word has come out of Augusta, the Masters has been postponed due to concerns of the Coronavirus.
Today (March 13th), Augusta National officials announced that The Masters is officially postponed over growing concerns of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
According to ESPN's Bob Harig, the year's first major championship is the fifth event on the PGA Tour schedule that will not be played in its current spot on the schedule. this comes after the cancellation of the Players Championship, Valspar Championship in Palm Harbor, Florida, WGC-Dell Match Play Championship in Austin, Texas, and Valero Texas Open in San Antonio. The Masters was scheduled for April 9th through the 12th.
