The Quad Cities Comic Book Convention Is Happening Next Week

Comic con season isn't over just yet! First, the Quad Cities saw Planet Funk Con come to the TaxSlayer Center. Now, we're getting another convention before the new year!

The Quad City Comic Book Convention is happening on December 29, over at the Ramada Inn in Bettendorf. This is more of a classic convention – less focus on celebrity guests and more on the comic books themselves. According to the Dispatch-Argus, "Dealers from four states will attend to discuss, sell and buy comic books, toys and related collectibles."

For someone looking to just start getting into the world of conventions, this would probably be a good place to start! Starting with a smaller event is always good so you can get a vibe on the environment and really get to see what you want without being overwhelmed!
