I am the worst speller in the world. Anyone of my friends will vouch for me. I'm thankful for spell check, and that we have someone that proofs our posts. I'm pretty sure he earns his paycheck correcting my stuff.

I was a horrible speller growing up, but this kid in Maryland had a tough time spelling "TOMORROW" and it came out "T-A-M-M-A-R-O." Sounds like someone was channeling his inner Lil' Orphan Annie. He posted on his school's Titter page, "close school tammarow PLEASE."  Well An employee for the district named Katie Nash runs the Twitter account decided to poke a little fun and tweeted back, "But then how would you learn how to spell 'tomorrow'?"  She ended the tweet with a smiley face.

And... She was fired.

I mean I can see both sides. It's not cool to humiliate someone publicly because they can't spell, or have a learning disability of some sort no matter how big or small it is, but a kid? I also see where she was just having a little harmless fun by correcting him.

People online are rallying behind her now on Twitter, but as far as we know, the district isn't planning on giving her the job back.
