It appears we are in for a stormy and chilly weekend here in the Quad Cities. For humans, that can be kind of nice. There's really nothing better than a rainy, lazy Saturday sitting on the couch in your pjs all day.

But for dogs, it can be wildly stressful. Many tend to get skittish and hide from the lightning. (In all fairness, I do the same thing). As it turns out, there's a reason for this. According to a Facebook post from a local Quad Cities animal shelter, dogs can actually feel little zaps of energy when lightning is present.

No wonder they freak out, that's terrifying! Luckily, King's Harvest has an easy way to combat it. Apparently, if you take an "unscented dryer sheet and rub it all over them, from the tips of their ears to the tips of their toes, [and] don’t miss any spots" your pup should calm down.

Let us know if you try it and it works!
