Meet Vincent. He was born without back legs, and life looked bleak for him. Thankfully, he was brought to a shelter when he was still a kitten. Knowing that Vincent was unlikely to be adopted due to his disability, shelter worker Cindy Jones took a special interest in him.

At Iowa State University's veterinary hospital, Vincent got a state of the art procedure that attached prosthetic legs onto Vincent's femurs. Now look at him go! Yes, the prosthetics are a little stumpy, but if Vincent does well with them, his vet, Dr. Mary Bergh, will be able to give him better prosthetics down the road.
