Summer concerts are getting ready to come back!

As we get closer to fair and live music season, we're learning more about who will be taking local stages!

Iowa State Fair has announced that R&B staples TLC, Salt-N-Pepa, and En Vogue will take the stage this year.

The trio will bring their 'It's Iconic' tour to the Iowa State Fair on Tuesday, August 18th.

If TLC sounds familiar, it's because they were on the Mississippi Valley Fair grandstand last summer in Davenport, along with 3OH!3. TLC and En Vogue have never been at the Iowa State Fair, but Salt-N-Pepa was there in 2017.

You know a bunch of classic R&B hits from these groups. TLC you remember from hits such as "No Scrubs", "Waterfalls", and "Creep". Salt-N-Pepa you know from songs like "Push It!", "Whatta Man" (which features En Vogue), and "Shoop".

If you know for sure you want to go see TLC and Salt-N-Pepa at the Iowa State Fair this year, you can get tickets at the fair's website.

The rest of Iowa State Fair's grandstand lineup looks like this:

  • August 13th: HARDY
  • August 14th: Rod Stewart with Richard Marx
  • August 15th: The Red Clay Strays
  • August 16th: Lainey Wilson with Tigirlily Gold
  • August 18th: TLC, Salt-N-Pepa, En Vogue
  • August 19th: AJR
  • August 20th: Riley Green with Mackenzie Carpenter
  • August 23rd: Josiah Queen with Ben Fuller

Tickets for the TLC/Salt-N-Pepa tour show go on sale Thursday at 10:00 a.m. You can find the link to grandstand tickets on the fair's website.
