The holidays have been over for a while, and that nice weather has finally left us. The next few months in Iowa are always known for being stressful, but there are events in the Quad Cities going on to help fight it.

Acupuncture

This is something kicking off today, January 29th. It is a community Acupuncture clinic. You will be getting help from Practitioner - Kristine Moyer. If you don't know a lot about Acupuncture, it is amazing to see what it can do. It can help with stress, sinus congestion, pain conditions, insomnia, and more. Walk-in Clinic are first-come, first-served. Head, arms, and legs only. Treatment is done in a large group setting. And costs $30.

Meditation

Lunchtime and night Meditation, is going on right here in the QC. You can try a 30 minute meditation to cultivate inner peace through a guided practice. at the Lamrim Kadampa Buddhist Center. Then you can enjoy the rest of your day with an inspired and positive mind. With regular practice these meditations. The session will be guided by a qualified Kadampa Teacher so all you need to do is come along. The cost is $3.

Yoga

A favorite for many people, and again a fun version of this is right here. Grab a brew and bend with friends at CBW. This event is known as Yoga on the Mezz. Due to popular demand, they now have 2 sessions per night. Each session lasts one hour. The cost is $10 at the door.

Hopefully one of these events can help you with that busy life we all go through. It's always nice to take a break and treat yourself.
