Twitter revolutionized the way we interact on social media, and now they're trying to change the game again.

The company’s staff just announced in a blog post that the 140-character limit in direct messages will be removed come July. No reason was given for the change, but it was made clear that this only applies to DMs and not public tweets, which will retain the limit. [Uproxx]

The announcement also included instructions on how to adjust your settings to accomodate the change.

I think this could be a good thing, but it could also lead to A LOT of trouble. This gives more "unlimited" access to the people you follow, but it could also lead to more cases of abuse and harrassment (not to mention the increase in thirsty "Hey sexy, you up?" DMs).

How do you feel about the change? -Slater
