You could always count on Walmart to have the lowest prices available and if they didn't there was a way around that until now.

Walmart is ending a popular program used by customers to find the lowest available prices. The nation’s largest retailer announced it will discontinue its Savings Catcher program in May according to an AL.com article.

The program, offered exclusively to app users, allowed customers to submit their receipts to see if a lower price was found at a competitor. If it was, the difference between the two prices was put on an eGift card for later use.

The last day to submit a Walmart Pay eReceipt to Savings Catcher will be May 14. Any eGift cards remaining on a customer's app will stay there until they are spent, according to Walmart. Sometimes good things must come to an end.
