Western Illinois Elementary Teacher Awarded For Helping Students Stay Healthy

The Spring 2025 semester isn't quite done. So we're still going out with our awesome program with Famous Dave's to honor and reward an awesome Quad Cities teacher.

It's now time to announce this week's B100 & Famous Dave's QC Teacher of the Week!

Congrats to Chantill Colvin, a 2nd-grade teacher at Ridgewood Elementary in Rock Island!

Ms. Colvin was nominated by a parent, Kristin, whose daughter had nothing but glowing things to say about her teacher:

On why she is the best from my 8 yo daughter: she is the best teacher I ever had because she helps when I’m feeling nervous, she makes sure we stay healthy, she cares about us and makes sure we are always working hard to be the best students. She teaches us all to be respectful and kind people and lets us use her swing. I’m so thankful she’s my teacher and she deserves to be awarded!
