What It Takes To Be A Disney On Ice Skater
It's no secret that I'm just a big ol' kid at heart. I love going to Disney, watching Disney movies, the works. So obviously I'm stoked that Disney On Ice is coming back to the TaxSlayer Center!
This year, the show is "Dream Big." It'll include some of our favorite Disney characters and settings, including those from Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid and more. In fact, I got to peek at some of the sets and even play with some of the props they'll be using!
But more than that, I got to see what it takes to be a Disney On Ice skater firsthand. And let me tell you, they are strong. Disney On Ice was kind enough to send me some of their basic workouts, which I tried out at home.
After I practiced a few times, I visited their set to work with the skaters in person.
I admit, I was still sore a few days later. These skaters are incredible, and truly live the healthiest lifestyle. They even sent me a recipe for a healthy snack, which I tried out after my time on the ice. It was easy and delicious!
