What’s Happening in the QC 3/18 – 3/20

Spend some quality time with your family being STAR STRUCK with local astronomers. Gaze upon heavenly bodies with an astronomers telescope, learn about the stories behind the constellations and sit amongst the stars in the STAR LAB! Check out the Science Center while you collect stars to create a constellation map to take home and watch Space Junk 3D on the Giant Screen to see what other types of objects are amongst the stars in our galaxy.

Thousands of colorful eggs will fill Lincoln Park for the annual Rock Island Parks & Recreation Spring Egg Hunt. Bring your bags and baskets to gather eggs scattered throughout the age appropriate hunt areas. Some eggs contain special prizes! Get a photo with the very popular bunny and dance to some silly songs! The hunt is free and is scheduled to begin promptly at 9:30 am. Do not be late, as eggs are only available for a short time! If weather is questionable call the rain line that morning at (309) 732-RAIN to hear if the indoor rain location will be utilized.

The HyVee in Moline (located at 750 42nd Ave Dr.) invites you to join them along with the Easter Bunny, on Saturday, March 19, from 9 to 11 a.m. for their annual Breakfast with the Easter Bunny!

Kids eat FREE with the purchase of an adult entree.

The first 1,000 fans ages 12 and under through the doors for the Mallards’ game Sunday at 4:05 p.m. at the iWireless Center against the Indy Fuel will receive free Mallards youth replica jerseys courtesy of WQAD News 8.

The Mallards will return home for their final Sunday home game of the season after completing a six-game road trip- their longest road swing of the campaign. Sunday also brings the season’s last Skate with the Mallards presented by B100. Fans can bring their skates and join the Mallards on the ice immediately after the game.
