Wine Advent Calendars are On Sale today at QC Aldi and Hy-Vee

Those wine advent calendars are hot ticket items. Did you get yours? Quad Citians are known for standing in line just to get their hands on one at local Aldi stores.

Did you know Aldi even invented 'National Advent Calendar Day,' and it's coincidentally today, November 4.

There have been rumors Aldi was going to use a lottery system so customers would have a better chance of getting a coveted wine calendar. Not sure if that's happening in the Quad Cities.

I was also surprised to see Hy-Vee getting into the wine advent calendar craze. My friend sent me the Hy-Vee ad last night showing they're selling the calendar's too.

It's not too late if you're looking for one. I was at Hy-Vee earlier today in the QC and found plenty. Clinton Hy-Vee has a limit for how many you can buy. I picked up mine at the Bettendorf Hy-Vee earlier this morning.

I needed something to celebrate today. I'm celebrating the fact that I scored a much coveted wine calendar. Now let's see if I can wait until December to drink it.
