Winter Jam Free Concert Series Features Soul Storm On Saturday
Who doesn't love free concerts? There will be another one this Saturday night.
The Rust Belt in East Moline has been hosting their Yabba Dabba's House of Glass Winter Jam Free Concert Series for the last several Saturdays. This Saturday, February 11th, Davenport-based Soul Storm will be taking the stage.
Soul Storm is a variety dance band, performing pop, rock, and R&B styles. The Rust Belt's website describes them as this:
Soul Storm is a seven-piece dance and variety band based out of Davenport, Iowa. Led by powerhouse lead vocalists Justin Hall and Shyla Bruce, Soul Storm delivers vocal preeminence, with attention to detail for rich harmonies. This vocal tandem soulfully executes some of popular music’s most beloved classics, with a splash of today’s current hits. The driving force of Soul Storm is their top-tier rhythm section comprised of guitarists Bryce Swanson and Jake Ott, bassist Drew Irion, keyboardist Zack Johnson, and drummer Dave Soliz. Established in 2014, Soul Storm provides a comprehensive listening experience for audience members. From Motown to Disco, to 80s pop and classic rock, to the hits of today, Soul Storm is the premier dance band in the area.
Doors will open at 6:00 on Saturday night, the show will start at 7. You should bring your own lawn chairs but you can't bring your own booze. You'll be able to buy food and drinks on site.
