Yet Another Business Could Vanish from the Quad Cities

Another business is about the bite the dust. Payless Shoe Source announced Tuesday it will seek protection to reorganize under chapter 11 bankruptcy according to KWQC.com.

As part of the filing, Payless will close almost 400 stores. No word at this time if any Quad City stores will be effected.

This announcement comes just after Sears and Gordmans announced it was filing for bankruptcy last month. This makes the tenth business to file this year.
