2015’s Most Popular Dog Names

Yesterday was National Dog Day (which is totally a legit holiday). In honor of that, Nextdoor.com surveyed their users to find the most popular pooch names.

While Bella is the overall favorite across breeds, the study found that different names reign supreme for different breeds. Lucy is the most popular name for mixed-breed dogs as well as dachshunds, while Bailey is the winner for Labs and golden retrievers. Got a shih tzu? If you named it Gizmo, you chose the top name.
