A “Grease” Remake Is Coming!

FOX announced its 2015-2016 primetime lineup earlier this week, and Grease: Live is part of it:

"GREASE: LIVE, a three-hour production of the massively popular crossover musical Grease, starring superstar singers, dancers, and actresses Julianne Hough and Vanessa Hudgens will air LIVE Sunday Jan. 31, 2016 on FOX...this first-ever live television production of Grease will re-imagine the hit musical for an entirely new generation."

NBC has recently revived popular musicals for TV screens--The Sound of Music in 2013 & Peter Pan in 2014--with mixed reviews.

Grease is one of my all-time favorite musicals. Grease: LIVE seems to have a pretty solid cast...I hope they do it justice!
