It's scary movie season but there's one flick that's apparently taking it to the next level.

There's a new movie so horrifying and disgusting that is apparently making viewers vomit or pass out. And what horror trope could bring people to such a state? Well...

Yep. That's right. The movie is based on scary clowns.

It's called "Terrifier 2" (did we know there was a "Terrifier 1"?) and it's proving to be doing pretty well for a micro-indie production with no mainstream marketing. QC folks who want to see it will have to drive a bit. It's playing at movie theaters in Cedar Rapids and in Peoria. It's also in Des Moines and Johnston.

The first "Terrifier" was based off of that weird time in 2016 when there were apparently a bunch of killer clowns popping up. You didn't forget that, did you? Now this is the gory sequel to it.

According to Variety, there have been pics of people getting medical attention outside of the theatre, like this one posted to Twitter.

For people who love scary movies (a.k.a. not me) this is when it becomes an endurance test. In response to the situation "Terrifier 2" director Damien Leone told Variety:

Listen, I would have loved to have a couple of walk-outs, I think that’s sort of a badge of honor because it is an intense movie. I don’t want people fainting, getting hurt during the movie. But it’s surreal.

What The Heck Is The Plot?

"Terrifier 2" features the aforementioned scary clown, named Art The Clown, who has black and white clown makeup. He's returning to Miles County after being resurrected via a "sinister entity" and sets his sights on a teenage girl and her younger brother, according to Yahoo! (y'all know I ain't gonna go see this to give you the plot). It's a gory slasher.

...and for that reason, it's a no from me. Will you be going to see it?
