Artistic Events Are Starting To Come Back In The Quad Cities
Art is for anyone, you can do it for fun, or work on it as a skill, and make it your job. One thing many people were sad to see as things closed down was the lack of artistic events happening. Sadly COVID stopped a lot of projects from musicals, plays, art shows, and studio work.
As 2021 continues however, we are seeing more events take place!
One Event taking place this weekend is the flower pot painting party. Any and everyone is welcome.
All my plant Mom’s and Dad’s out there this is the paint party for you! Join us Saturday, May 22 to paint your very own flower pot while sipping on delicious coffee! No experience is needed and all materials are provided. Come laugh, sip, unwind, and leave with a flower pot of your own!
There are also countless art exhibits happening in the Quad Cities from 'Faces Of The Past' to a visual art exhibition by Peter Xiao and Ioan Marcu.
An in-person reception will be held at Quad City Arts on May 21st from 7-9 pm. The artists will talk about their work beginning at 7:30. Masks will be required in the gallery. Snacks and beverages will be available to enjoy in Arts Alley.
If art isn't your style maybe a musical?
