I can't believe it's not butter!

In one of the more signature pieces of Iowa news lately, the Iowa and Illinois State Fairs won't be the only places you can find incredible butter sculptures this summer.

The Mississippi Valley Fair will also have them, done by Sarah Pratt, who also does the iconic sculptures at both of those fairs.

Pratt's work is going to be in the Expo Building at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, which will be July 29th-August 3rd. There's an amazing set of grandstand acts announced so far too.

This was the post at the time, that now has over 15 million views, that started the argument.

It doesn't make the feat of butter sculpting any less impressive, really. You try molding a Caitlin Clark sculpture on chicken wire with just butter. In fact, butter sculptures are so iconic at the Iowa State Fair that they have their own Wikipedia page. I think it's a valid life goal to be cool enough for a butter sculpture.

As for this year's displays at the Mississippi Valley Fair, there's no word yet on what the butter sculptures will be, but you can be they will be fantastic based off of the artist's past works.
