Chicken Sandwiches Are Returning To QC Popeye’s Locations Soon

Fans of Popeye's uber-popular chicken sandwich won't have to wait much longer to get their hands on the tasty menu item.

WQAD reports that the chain is bringing back the sandwich nationwide starting in early November.

In order to prep for the surge of customers every time the sandwich is available, Popeye's is hiring 4,000 new employees.

Although Sun Holdings, which runs 150 Popeyes locations, said they would offer the food again next month, the chain's parent corporation is not confirming the item's relaunch just yet.

The sandwich has sold out across the country since it was introduced over the summer. The item hasn't been consistently available in the Quad Cities since the end of August.
