Connor & JT Explain Why You Wear Green On St. Patrick’s Day
No matter where you are for St. Patrick's Day here in the Quad Cities, you probably have someone calling you out for not wearing green. Why is green such an important color? In short, the tradition is tied to folklore that says wearing green makes you invisible to leprechauns, which like to pinch anyone they can see. It's a pretty straight forward idea and tradition.
Leprechauns are known for their tricks, so a pinch from them would never be fun. Now it just gives our friends a reason to pinch us for not wearing green.
People like Connor Kenney here at B100 go all out for the holiday! While I am forgetful like always. I actually love St. Patrick's Day. Unfortunately for some reason I can never remember to wear green. Thankfully I had Connor to remind me this year.

It's a bit gloomy today, but no matter where you are in the Quad Cities and B100 listening area, make sure you stay safe and have a fun St. Patrick's Day! Oh, and make sure you wear green if you go out today, Connor is always watching!
