Minimum wage could be increasing soon for this county.

In a day and age where many families are living paycheck to paycheck, this possibility comes as a ray of hope and sunshine for workers in Linn County, Iowa.

According to WQAD.com, there is a second vote tonight to increase this county's minimum wage from the national wage of $7.25 to $8.25 immediately and then it would progressively increase to $9.25 by 2018 and $10.25 by 2019, with no more increases.

I think it's safe to say, many people would feel relived throughout the entire state if it went up to $10.25, like yesterday.
