Western Illinois Teacher Awarded For Making Math Class Fun
The Spring 2024 semester is underway and once again we are heading out to a school with our awesome program with Nothing Bundt Cakes and Scooter's Coffee to honor and reward our awesome Quad Cities teachers and educators. It's called QC Teacher of the Week and we are so excited to announce this week's teacher of the week!
It's now time to announce this week's B100, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and Scooter's Coffee's QC Teacher of the Week!
Congrats to Jeff Henry, Math teacher at Rockridge Junior High!
Mr. Henry was nominated by a student, Austen, who praised Mr. Henry's ability to make class fun:
Have you ever had a teacher that makes you excited to come to class every day? Well I do, and that’s Mr. Jeff Henry. He teaches Math at Rockridge JH. I’m in 8th grade and the school work and classes can be, well, boring to say the least. Mr. Henry makes every class fun! He tells a lot of jokes, that are actually funny, and makes the class environment a fun one to learn in instead of being stuck in a boring class. I mean, who really wants to learn about the Pythagorean theorem? That won’t help me do my taxes one day lol. Seriously though, Mr. Henry takes the time to connect with us and make the classroom exciting and I’m just very thankful for that!
Awesome job, Mr. Henry!
For being our QC Teacher of the Week, Mr. Henry has been rewarded with a B100 Prize Pack including stickers, koozies, and more, plus an awesome cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes and a cup and gift card from Scooter's Coffee!
Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Mr. Henry!
