Popular Hot Dog Restaurant Opening Its First Location In Iowa

There is a new chain restaurant preparing to open its doors at its first location in Iowa right along the Mississippi River. The restaurant specializes in hot dogs and barbeque and has other unique features that make people crave to come back.

It's a good thing the name of this new restaurant is called Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ. For over a year now, franchise owners of the new Crave location have been saying they are coming soon and it appears to be really soon.

Not only is this going to be Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ's first location in Iowa, but its first location in the Quad Cities. It will be opening soon at its home in Bettendorf.

Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ Opening Its First Location In Iowa

On April 7th, 2022, a new Facebook page called Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ - Bettendorf, IA was created and its first post featured delicious-looking food and was captioned "COMING SOON!".

We're now in June of 2023 and the chain hot dog and barbeque joint is gearing up hopefully open by the end of the month.

According to Restaurant News, the franchisees of the new Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ in Bettendorf are James and Sarah Ballard. James and Sarah have lived in Bettendorf for 16 years. James received an undergraduate degree in business from Coe College in Cedar Rapids and MBA in Business from Saint Ambrose.

The Ballards have 3 children. Their daughter, Lauren, is a cancer survivor and the Ballard’s enjoy spending free time supporting “Dance Marathon” through a local St. Ambrose Chapter.

Crave Hots Dogs & BBQ Is Hiring For New Location In Bettendorf

Recently, another post by the page announced they were hiring staff for Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ - Bettendorf at its new location at 1415 Kimberly Road in Bettendorf. The location is looking for people to fill positions in both front and back-of-house.

On the hiring post (shown above) Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ - Bettendorf commented that they hope to open their first Iowa location at the end of June. An official grand opening date will be released when they have one, the page said.
