Davenport Diaper Drive-Thru Event Happening Friday
For parents who are looking to get diapers and other resources for free, the Scott County Health Department's Maternal Health Program and Hiney Heroes are holding a free drive-thru event for parents and expecting parents this Friday.
In a social media post on Thursday, City of Davenport officials reminded residents about an upcoming free diaper and resource drive-thru event coming to the city.
The Scott County Health Department's Maternal Health program, along with Hiney Heroes and other community partners, is hosting a free drive-thru diapers and resources event tomorrow, August 6. This drive-thru event will take place in the Modern Woodmen Park parking lot (Florian Keen Lot) for two hours, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
To get free diapers and resources, recipients must have children present in the car, but officials say that expecting parents are welcome as well.
This free diaper and resource drive-thru event happening Friday is a great resource for parents and soon-to-be parents. It also falls in line with the celebration of World Breastfeeding Week.
Other items being handed out tomorrow during the drive-thru event include baby wipes and period supplies. The event will last until noon tomorrow or until supplies last.
Parents and expecting parents wanting to take advantage of this drive-thru event should enter the Modern Woodmen parking lot from Western Avenue.
More details can be found on the Scott County Health Department's Maternal Health Program's website and Hiney Heroes Facebook page.
