Woman Steals Turtle From Davenport Pet Mart
...And you thought THIS kid had a reptile fetish!
On March 19th, 2016 at approximately 2:46pm, security footage at the Davenport Pet Mart shows a blonde woman in the store, who opens up the top of one of the enclosures, sticks her hand in, and pulls out a turtle.
It is assumed that the woman took the turtle with her from the store, from the following statement:
"There are no words. Wait - yes there are. It is one thing to steal a dog collar, but to steal someones baby pet turtle is unforgivable," Pet Mart posted on Facebook.
The turtle's (affectionately named Louie) whereabouts are still unknown and Pet Mart is asking for the Quad Cities community to come forward with any information. The woman was reportedly driving a black Oldsmobile Bravada.
There are no words. Wait - yes there are. It is one thing to steal a dog collar, but to steal someones baby pet turtle is unforgivable. Louie was staying at the store until moving was finished. Any help identifying suspect is appreciated. She drove a black Oldsmobile Bravada.
