Demi Lovato Accused Of Illegal Sampling

Demi Lovato released her much-anticipated album Confident last month, but not everyone is happy with it.

Brooklyn-based duo Sleigh Bells posted a tweet earlier this week accusing Demi of using unauthorized samples of the noise-pop duo’s “Infinity Guitars” and “Riot Rhythm” in her own song “Stars”:

Lovato’s producers Carl Falk and Rami have denied Sleigh Bells’ allegations in a statement. “We did not use any samples in Demi Lovato’s song ‘Stars' ... Demi was also not involved with the production. She only wrote top line.” [Diffuser]
