DeWitt Man Wins $50,000 From Iowa Lottery
Some people are just luckier than others. One DeWitt man really got lucky through the Iowa Lottery and scored quite a large chunk of change! He won himself $50,000 and there is a lot of money up for grabs with Powerball and Mega Millions.
We also wish we could buy a scratch off ticket and find out that we won the jackpot prize for that scratch off. One man in DeWitt got the pleasure of doing that and claimed his large prize on Monday.
According to an announcement from the Iowa Lottery, Bradley Goddard of DeWitt is now $50,000 richer after after winning the jackpot by playing the Iowa Lottery's "$50,000 Super Crossword" scratch game. Bradley actually won the 42nd top prize in that scratch game.
If you're looking to win big like Goddard, you're going to need to stop by a gas station in the city of Clinton. Iowa Lottery officials report that Goddard purchased his winning ticket at Expresslane, located at 401 Second Ave. South in Clinton.
Goddard claimed his $50,000 prize Monday at the lottery's Cedar Rapids regional office. He got that once in a lifetime opportunity to hold up one of those awesome Iowa Lottery checks!
A lot more money is up for grabs with Powerball and Mega Millions. Right now, estimated Powerball winnings is at $142 million. Mega Millions is sitting at $370 million.
