Eastern Iowa Teacher Awarded For Motivating And Encouraging Kids

The Spring 2024 semester is underway and once again we are heading out to a school with our awesome program with Nothing Bundt Cakes and Scooter's Coffee to honor and reward our awesome Quad Cities teachers and educators. It's called QC Teacher of the Week and we are so excited to announce this week's teacher of the week!

It's now time to announce this week's B100, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and Scooter's Coffee's QC Teacher of the Week!

Congrats to Kelly Poster, a 2nd-grade teacher at John K Kennedy Catholic School in Davenport!

Mrs. Poster was nominated by a parent, Michelle Harvey, on behalf of her son and Mrs. Poster's student, Lawson Harvey. This is what Michelle said about Mrs. Poster's:

"Mrs. Poster has been an amazing teacher for our son. She is constantly motivating him and encouraging him even when he gets down in himself. When she sees he is nervous or uncertain, she reminds him he can do anything as long as he keeps trying to learn from his mistakes and not giving up on himself. She tries to teach him that he can be a leader and how important it is for leaders to set a good example for their classmates. As parents, we could not have imagined a better teacher for our son and only wish she could follow him on to every grade beyond this point!"
