The Clinton Riverview Pool will be hosting its first family movie night of the 2020 summer this Saturday, and the film is a Disney favorite.

Residents in Clinton will be able to enjoy a fun evening at the Clinton Riverview Pool this Saturday because they will be hosting their first family movie night of the 2020 summer season. The Clinton Parks and Recreation Department announced on social media on Monday that family movie night at Clinton's Riverview Pool will still be happening.

According to the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department's Facebook post, family movie night will feature the Disney movie (and a movie that makes me ball my eyes out every single time I watch it with my nieces) Moana. Family movie night takes place this Saturday, July 11th.

Gates at the Clinton Riverview Pool will open its doors at 6 p.m. Moana will begin around 7 p.m. and the movie is expected to last until 9 p.m.

Officials from the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department said in the post that the movie will be playing on the splash pad. They ask anyone attending to bring their own chair and/or blanket. Residents wanting to swim and watch Moana will be able to do so because the pool itself will be open for swimming. Entrance to family movie night is $1 a person. Food, snacks and drinks will be available for purchase as the concession stand will be open.

Officials also said that any child that is 15 years of age or younger must be accompanied by an adult.

The next movie night scheduled at Clinton Riverview Pool is Saturday, August 8th. The movie for that date has not been released yet.
