Get Your Funk On With Planet Funk Con This Weekend

Be honest – sometimes you want to wear your favorite superhero costume on more than just Halloween. Well, this weekend your opportunity has truly arrived!

Planet Funk Con is happening at TaxSlayer Center on June 22nd and 23rd, full of comic and entertainment panels for every fan. If your costume is good enough, it just might pay off; the prize for their cosplay contest is $500.

The convention will bring some fan-favorite actors, cosplayers and artists to the Quad Cities, including Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Samantha Newark and Max Mittelman. I'll be out there on Friday, treating myself to a little pre-birthday celebration, and want to meet as many B100 listeners as possible!

I'm not sure what my costume will be yet...there's just so many options.
