Group In Quad Cities Cleans Veteran Headstones

On Sunday many came together in the QC to show support to our fallen heroes. The Excelon Militaries Actively Connected worked with the Davenport City Cemetery to clean the head stones of Civil War, World War I, and World War II soldiers.

Truly a beautiful action by this group here in Davenport.

In an interview with Kwqc Co-President of Exelon Militaries Actively Connected, Jeffrey Bartz stated,

"It’s about the veterans. Giving them the respect they deserve."

They try to clean the markings as much as they can which usually ends up being twice a year. Doing this is important to many since may of these fallen soldiers don't have family in the QC area.
